My Class Evaluation

                                                                      Class Evaluation

1. 1 thing I like about this class was that we many different class works. We did our blogger, Medical Career Pathways, and our Journals.
2. 1 thing that I didn't like about the class was that we the same things everyday you didn't take a risk and try new things.
3. To improve this class you need to think of new ideas so the class can make an experience on doing knew things.
4. The highlight of this class was the Student Success Statements it made me really think about myself and how I can improve to be a CTR person.
5. Yes I did my best in this because I did all my work and always wrote in my Life Planning Goals Journal.
6. I am reading my Life Planning Goals Journal everyday because it helps me remember I wrote this so I have to accomplish it and it helps me by focusing on many things not just one.
7. I am committed to being a CTR person because it makes me a better person and if helped me maybe me being a CTR person will make others change become a CTR person.
8. One thing that I learned from this class is to be a CTR person and this is something I want to pass down so others can do the same with their life.
9. One that i will remember about this class is to always Choose The Right and never be a C**.

This quote is great because it talks about how to be honorable. It also tells us that we shouldn’t  win by doing the wrong and cheat. It teaches us how to fail but be honorable. It shows how we need to be lose with honor and not win by cheating. A great example of this quote is if i fail a test it's okay because i failed it with honor. Another great example of this quote is we win the championship ,but we did by cheating, that's not showing honor and being a true winner. That’s showing us that you are not trustworthy and you can’t keep a secret or tell the truth.

Smoking

Describe Smoking: Smoking can cause other diseases to worsen. It also has more than 7,000 chemicals in a tobacco smoke cigar. The chemical in the cigars keep users addicted to their product.

Who’s involved?: The people that are involved are the companies that make the cigars. They aren't the only ones to blame because most of the people that are addicted or died of lung cancer it's their fault because they were the ones who bought the cigars. They already knew the outcome of what was going to happen to them .

What's being done about smoking?: The government has step in and try to reduce the amount of smokers in their states. They are trying their best to help people reduce the urged to smoke.

Reflection: This topic does not relate to me or my family because we don't smoke. It doesn’t relate to me but it relates to the whole world because more than one quarter of people smoke. This is bad because cause people to end up with cancer and other deadly diseases.  

Memorial Day

                                         Memorial Day

Memorial day is a day for all the soldiers that died in the wars are remembered.It's every year on May 30. Some ways to pay your respects are to visit veterans that died in the wars so we can have a better life. We can show our respects by raising a flag and also just by saying thank you to them for all their hard work in keeping our country safe.  Things i'll be doing on memorial day is i always go to the cemetery and hear the memorial speech. After that i don’t do anything else to pay my respect to them.Which ill be changing that in the near future.

Reflection

Every Memorial day it’s a great time of year because we are celebrating the people that fought and died getting our freedom. This day helps us remember how grateful we should be because they fought for our freedom that we have today. It helps us remember all the families that lost someone and make them feel better for their loss.It makes those families that lost someone feel gratitude for their service. The U.S do this so we can have respect for the people in the uniform and are fighting right now.

These 8 reason to tell the truth are great because it helps try to learn to always to tell the truth. We also learn from these 8 reason that we shouldn’t lie because it hurts people that innocent and didn’t do anything. It also helps you to  have a rep of telling the truth. These are great reason because it helps you from getting into more trouble than you already are. A great example of this is if your teacher tells you did you cheat and you say no but he know you cheated. Now instead of you getting the 0 only your friend also got the 0.

This quote is telling us to set correct goals and not ones that are incorrect goals. It also tells us that if we keep pursuing them the best way we can we will accomplish them. It shows how we can succeed by just setting goals. It also shows how not to set goals that are not correct ones we should always make the correct goals.A good example of this quote is i’m setting goals to be successful and keep on pursuing them i will succeed because i'm doing the right thing to do. Another good example of this quote is if you're doing the right thing and writing goals down to help improve the way you live and help others not just yourself. This quotes is amazing because it talks about how to be successful. It also talks how to do the right thing and not choose the wrong.

Wellness Specialist

                                              Wellness Specialist

Duties and responsibilities:The duties of a wellness specialist is to educate the public to improve their way of life and daily choices. They also do public speaking to inform the public so they can live a healthy life. They also help by doing outdoor exercises  and getting people to be more active.

Salary: The average of a wellness specialist is 53,000 dollars a year. Some other wellness specialist make more because that just the median amount they make a year.

Education: Each wellness specialist is demand different requirements to become a wellness specialist, but many require at least a bachelor's degree.

Demand for this Profession: There is a  large demand for wellness specialist because it will soon grow by a large percentage of 37%.

Reflection: It would be awesome to help people and i would love to be a wellness specialist because you can help people that need help by telling them how to live right.

This is a great quote because It talks about how to have good values and not just waste the opportunity that they have. Another thing about this quote is that it says it's the most important thing to have. This quote shows us how are supposed to live and not live life without good values. It also shows us how to become a person with good values. A good example of this quote is if someone asks you if you went to school and you say yes because i have many good values. Another good example of this quote is if you are ask did you do your homework and no. That means you have good values to do things. Overall this is a great quote because it talks about how you should live life not just like a person that doesn’t know anything about good values.

Veterinarian

                                     Veterinarian

Duties and responsibilities: They manage vaccines, broken bones, check-ups and also clean teeth. They also do some surgeries on the animals. They are also self-employed for their work.They are their own manager.

Salary: A veterinarian makes about 85 thousand dollars a year. They make decent money for just helping out animals in need. If you’re a well known vet you can make more money than the others just by being known by many people.

Education: To become a veterinarian you have to at least have a ph.d. If you don’t have one you can’t become one. You also have to go through some training to operate on these animals that are in need of help.

Demand for this profession: There is a demand for this profession and its about 12% in growth form 2014. People should try to be a veterinarian because you work with animals and can be able to help them out.

Reflection: I would want to become one because i like to help animals and try to help them become cure. Also because i like to help people and other living things in the world.

This is a great quote because it talks about you don’t need a reward to do good. It also tells us that when we do good all we need is the feel of dignity, integrity, and self-respect. It also tells us that we should do good not for the reward,but for the satisfaction of doing good. It also show us how to be grateful and just to be selfish. This quote also shows how we should be instead of just you do something good where's my reward. A great example of this quote is if you find a wallet with 100 dollars and you just return it no question ask because your just that responsible with doing what’s right.

My favorite world record is the one about Dubai because they are trying to raise awareness for kid with autism.I am fascinated with this specific world record because it something that helps other people not just themselves.I would like to break a world record but i just don't know which one to try to break.If i had to choose one it would be the one about most dribbles in a single time.Why? Because i really like soccer and it fun to do it.

These 4 tips are great advice to help us with what we want to do in our lives. It also shows how we should follow these tip to be a successful person. The first tip is a must because you always need to work hard to accomplish your dreams. This will help you not to be a person that slacks off when they are working. The second tip is telling us to follow our dreams that we have a passion for not just for the money and the feeling of having a job. The third tip is just something you just don’t want to do because then you are not going to have money and you are just going to be working hard. The last tip is to help others accomplish their dreams too. Help them by getting them prepared for life.

Snakes

What the video was showing us that he knew what he was when he picked it up. It also shows how people can bring you down when you don't know what you are getting into. A good example of this sentence is that you can't trust a snake. This sentence can be applied to us by someone us down just like the snake did with the Indian man.It can also tell us that we show always be alert for what the world brings to us.

This quote tells us that we should always do the right thing and never choose the wrong.It also means when we have to make a decision you need to always make the right decision. It also tells us that whatever decision we make it has to be the right decision.A good example of this quote would be if your mom ask you if you did your homework and you say yes that's the right decision because it's the truth. Another Example would be if you do your reflection you have to make the right decision because that's the best decision.This is great because it talks about decisions and how can it affect your life if you don't make the right decision.

Duties and Responsibilities:An engineer needs to design and input modifications so it's safe. They also need to develop their own projects or they can see other engineers and see how they did it.

Salary: The average for an engineer is about 65,979 but that's the medium of all engineers some of them make more than 100,000 dollars a year.

Education: They have to have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. They also have to have a license in engineering.

Demand for this Profession: The demand for this profession isn’t that high it's only 5% in growth.

It also says that you’re gaining money though.

Reflection: I would want to become one because you are not just sitting there you are always doing something always on the move and that's why i want to be one.

This quote tells us not to do what's wrong because you will never gain anything out of it. It also tells us that when you do what’s wrong you’ll never win. This quote shows us how to be honest and to never tells lies. It also helps you to be a better person with a great personality. A good example of this would be if you cheated on a test and got a 100% on it. Your parents ask you whats number 11 and you are like I don’t know. Your mom says i thought you got a 100 and you no i cheated.  Another good example would be if you rigged a soccer game so that your team would win. You'll feel bad and tell the truth because of all the guilt.

Basketball

Basketball is a great sport because their is a lot of action going in that one game. In my opinion i think basketball is the most difficult sport because you have be tall and athletic. You also have to be smart when you're playing because you only have 24 second to try and score and if you don't they’ll call a violation on you. In basketball you also have to be very quick to make the decisions. You also have to be very cautious when playing because if you get hurt it can end your career. People that play in the nba are trying to win that championship ring that's the reason they are playing they want to win not just for the money.Once the season is over you still have lots of responsibilities to do like resign players renew contracts find new coaches and their is something called the draft lottery. In the Draft lottery teams get seeded at what place they are going to be choosing. So if you're first you get to choose first. When you are in the draft you don't for what position you need you go for best available.    

Medical Careers

                                         Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities:They treat people that have stutters as well as vocal and cognitive communication impairments. They help people with speech issues that were caused by emotional issues.They often work close with other medical physicians. They provide the patient with therapy and help reduce the stutters.

Salary: They make about 70,000 dollars annually.

Education:You have to at least have a bachelor's degree in speech and communication. You also have to go through hands on training or  you can be an intern so can have a better chance of being offered a job.

Demand for this profession:This profession is expected to grow about 19% in 8 years.

Reflection: It would be nice working with kid and making about 70,000 dollars.

This student success statement tells us that we should do whats right and have peace. You should also have well being of the mind and the body. This commandments should us how much responsibility the indians had to do just to follow the rules. It also shows us how to live life with no regrets. This statement also tells us that having a clear mind makes you live a better life without distractions and other issues. Another thing that it tells is that we should people that are in need and that are looking for help.A good example of this statement would be if you just live by these rules/commands you’ll live a great life. If you choose not to live by these rule you’ll probably have many people that dislike and don’t want to help you when you're in need of something.

Med Careers

Duties and responsibilities:They work with patients to ease stress and tensions in their lives. Reflexology also give massages to people on their hands or feet. Most of them carry out the managing in their self employed jobs.

Salary: A reflexology should be expected to make about 40,000 dollars a year.But they also have to cover the expenses so that not all of money.

Education: First you have to have an Associates Degree, once you have that you a license to be massage. Then you need a to have a secure employment for the job.

Demand for this profession: There is not a demand because you have to be self employed and no one wants to take that risk.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be one because it’s too much of a risk.

This quote means we should never break a promise.If you break a promise the person that you broke promise will lose trust and will not trust you. Who knows maybe he will forgive you but a promise should never be broken because then you that trust that both of you had together. This quote also means you can break many things but you can’t a promise.It also tells us that when you make a promise you don’t have to say “I promise” every time. A good example of this would be if you promise to your parents that you’ll be back at 9 but you come home at 10 your parents won’t want to believe you anymore.This is why you should always be trustworthy and never be unfaithful.

Duties and responsibilities: They perform physical exams and provide counseling. They also help by managing their medications and well being.They also make critical decisions on their health.

Salary: A registered nurse makes about 65,000 a year.This is just the median people can get paid more than the median.

Education: To become a RN you need at least an  Associate's degree.Not only do you need that you also need to go through training to get your nursing license.

Demand for this profession: This profession is going to grow up to 16% from 2016 to 2024.This will allow more hospital with more RN’s

Reflection: It would be great to get a job like this but it's not in my type of job.

This Quote tells us that you should always invest in goodness.It also tells us that goodness never fails to be invested in.It also tells us that investing in something bad, it will most likly fail.Unlike goodness that never fails. A good example of this would be if you invest in a hospital and help cure people with diseases.A bad example is like investing in drugs and other wrong things.

Demand for this profession:They are in demand because of the baby bommers.It will increase 12% in the next 10 years.

Reflection: I would not like to be one because it looks like you need to be very calm and sudly.

It also tells that we should never go the easy route.

    Navy Physician

Duties and responsibilities:A military has to take care of the soldiers and provide the top notch medical services. During the job you have to do the same thing as when you were a civilian physician. They also have to stay focus to help the navy when things get a little to hot.

Nonparticipant may receive 20,000 for an exchange of 4 years on duty

Education:You also need to have a degree in medical school.You have to serve 2 years of duty for the navy, After that you can be a full time navy physician.

Demand for this Profession: There is not a high demand because people want to make a difference to our country.

I would not want to be a navy physician because i don't like war.

Duties and Responsibilities They are trained to draw blood from people for the clinic, medical testing, donations, and transfusions. They mainly collect the blood from the veins or the patient's fingertips. They also help with keeping the person calm when taking out blood.

Salary: Phlebotomist make about 30,000 dollars a year and an hour they make $14.29

Education: They don't need a degree, but they need to go through training to be hired as a phlebotomist and have some experience on the job.

Demand for this profession: Phlebotomist are very high in demand and are increasing steadily. This can be something you can enter and make almost 15 dollars an hour.

Reflection: It would be awesome to be one, but it just they don’t make enough money.I do like the hours i work though.

A good example of this quote if your friend is standing up for healthier foods you should stand up also because it a great cause. Another good example is if he is trying to promote drugs to be legal you should not stand with him because he is wrong.

Basketball

Duties and Responsibilities: Basketball players have to compete in leagues like the NBA, to try to win a championship.They also have to produce a lot of points if they want to stay in their team.Most players today have great careers.

Salary: Basketball player earn about million a year and that’s just the median some players make more than 20 million dollars a year.

Education:Most NBA players don't have a college degree, but most of them have at least their hs degree. Basketball players do not need any school to become one.

Reflection A basketball player would be fun to be one, but I’m not very tall and I don’t  jump very high.So this makes me terrible.
