This quote is telling you that even if your alone on something you believe you should stand for and choose the right. It also says to have the gut to do it alone because then the people are going to be following you later. Many of the ones who opposed will be the ones standing with you for what you guys believe in. He also talks about you being the light and leading the people who didn't choose the right. This also shows us not to give in to peer pressure and never to choose the wrong. A good example of this would be if you go to a party and all your friends are drinking and they are telling you to join them but you know your going to get in trouble if do. Later he found out that all his friends got pulled over and went to jail. This is a good example because of all the events in it. Another example is you skipping school but you don't want to so you stay in school and later they get caught and get detention.
